Favorite mom looks lately

Some of the recent looks I’ve been spotting (at the library, grocery store, school pick up):

–short or mini uggs

–canada goose coats (and other less exp long puffers/parkas)

-shiny puffer vests

-black and colorful leggings with white crew socks

-the look above with sneakers

–sorel boots/booties

–sherpa cropped jackets (cropped might not be for everyone but non cropped versions look cute too!)

–winter denim jacket

These are not workwear pieces obviously, but more for the casual day running errands. I realized that the key to me feeling more put together as a stay at home mom is not getting dressed like I’m going to the office (frankly it’s not practical to wear dresses and tight button down shirts when taking care of a five, three and 18 month old), but by investing in one or two trendy items each season. It also is nice to have one (or more) expensive pieces that you feel good in year after year. I would love a canada goose or moncler coat, but that’s not in the budget right now. I did get some ultra mini Uggs and a fleece lined denim jacket this year which I have been loving!
